The Rutherford County DSS Local SaySo (Strong Able Youth Speaking Out) Chapter is hosting its third Annual SaySo Yard Sale on Saturday, September 26. (Due to COVID, the Spring Yard Sale had to be postponed.)
The 2020-2021 SaySo Board Members of RCDSS YALC (Young Adult Local Council) has created three goals they will work towards to achieve during their term - One being more promotional and recruitment advertisement focused on teens.
This year, reserve a $10 parking space to sell household goods or vendor items and receive a free promotional T-shirt.
SaySo Yard Sale 2020 includes: food trucks, face painting, and $1 raffle tickets or $5 for 6 tickets for a chance to win prizes of a minimal value of $10 each. A list of items raffled off will be provided closer to the yard sale date.
Please email T-shirt size and what you plan to sell to email@example.com. COVID protocols will be followed and designated parking spaces will be depending on types of items for sale.
Sign up via email anytime to firstname.lastname@example.org; however, payment and T-shirt pick up will be during specific dates and times provided weekly. Cash or checks made payable to Rutherford County DSS with SaySo noted on the memo line will be accepted.
Money is due by September 18. There will not be a rain date or refunds if the yard sale is cancelled.
All proceeds and donations go towards SaySo 828. Show your support for teenagers (who are in, or who have been in, the Foster Care System) by 'Following' us on Facebook - SaySo 828.
This also begins the Fall shirt order if interested in purchasing a tee shirt, hooded sweatshirt, or long sleeve shirt. There are two LOGOS to choose from. If you are interested in shirt details, please email Janea separately and she will provide pricing and styles. These proceeds also go towards SaySo 828.
