Arnold Ray Crotts, age 64 of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
He was born on March 7, 1953 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Bertie Lee and Hazel Earley Crotts. Arnold worked in textiles for most of his life, first with Cone Mills and later with Abercrombie Textiles where he retired. He was a simple man who loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren. He was especially proud of his grandson, who serves in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Davis Crotts, brothers, Jim Crotts, Bill Crotts, and sister, Martha Kay Smith.
Survivors include a daughter, Meranda Crotts Bradley of Forest City, grandson and wife of Fort Hood, Texas, granddaughter of Bostic and one great-grandson.
Arnold will be laid to rest beside his late wife, Jennifer in a private service for his immediate family.
