The 4th Annual Caroleen-Henrietta-Avondale Day was held at the Caroleen American Legion Post #423 on Saturday, September 17th. The event included music, food, vendors, and a car show.
Street rods and muscle cars will rumble into the Rumbling Bald Resort this weekend during the 19th Annual Vintage Tin Car Show.

R-S Central (3-3, 1-2) did a lot of good things and stuck around with Crest, but fell 23-14 on the road. While the Hilltoppers did give up over 350 yards to Crest, they did a good job of buckling down, allowing them to score just four times. Penalties and two key fumbles were factors in what could have produced a possible upset. R-S Central has the week off but will host Chase on 10/7/16

The Rutherford County Branch NAACP will sponsor a Candidate Forum, Thurs. Sept. 29, 6pm at New Bethel AME Zion Church, Forest City. Come meet the 2016 Candidates from Rutherford County. There will be a questions and answer session. The Public is invited.
