East-Central Battle Open Conference Play Next Week
Every year, we all for look forward to it. The clash of East Rutherford and R-S Central takes place on the basketball court next week. They meet up at R-S Central on December 13th as East won both matchups a year ago.

Listen To Life
What day is it for you?
One of my nieces celebrated her 4th birthday a few years ago.  She and her mom were going somewhere together in their van shortly after her birthday.  And all of a sudden, she says to her mom, “Well, it’s day two.”
“What do you mean, ‘It’s day two?’” the mom asked.
And my niece replied, “It’s day two after my birthday, Mommy!”
She reminds me of my grandfather in his later years.  If he was 86 years old, he would say, “I’m in my 87th year.”

Outdoor Truths
One of my favorite places to hunt from is the barn, especially on the cold and windy days. I have it set up perfectly. I have two square bales stacked on top of one another to rest my gun on, and I sit on a third bale. Because this set-up is in the loft of the barn, I have a great view of the fields below.
