For her contributions and extra efforts, 18 year old Karissa Offenbuger was presented with a special award and commendation from Chesnee’s Mayor and Council.
Our Neighbor Celebrates 100 Years!
   This past Saturday, September 17, beginning at 10 a.m. the marching and flag bearing Chesnee High School ROTC began the celebration. The parade was followed by an enormous amount of party activity all day. It ended when a fireworks show lit up the evening sky. It was all about our neighbor, Chesnee, celebrating its’ 100th birthday! What a day! What a show! A stupendous show of local pride.
