Without question it is the best car show in the Southeast! This is the 20th anniversary of the Forest City Merchants Association “Hot Nights & Cool Rides”! Merchants Association President, Kelly Dale says, with all things considered, this year, 2011, should be the “biggest yet”! We all like to avoid a hot kitchen during the extreme hot weather. However, I have found that a great way to make a homemade dessert in addition to puddings, is a homemade pie. It doesn’t take up much time and a slice of pie sure tastes great with a scoop of ice cream on a summer day. So, I’m in the kitchen and am going to make some pies. One of the shows I like to watch on occasion is called Whale Wars. It is the real-life adventure of those who are trying to stop Japanese merchant ships from killing whales in the name of research. According to the last episode, they may have won this war for good. I rejoiced with them. And while they may not understand a hunter being their ally; it perfectly fits into the real mindset of those who both kill and protect.
